A series of frequently asked questions on the application of the Vertical Agreements Block Exemption (Regulation 330/2010) to various factual scenarios, with guideline answers and suggestions for further reading. Regulation 330/2010 expired on 31 May 2022 and a new block exemption (Regulation 2022/720) entered into force on 1 June 2022. Regulation 2022/730 provided for a one-year transitional period until 31 May 2023 for existing agreements to be aligned with the new rules. The guidance in this note, therefore, remained applicable until that date. This note does not consider the position under Regulation 2022/720, which introduced some changes to the vertical agreements rules.
