This note provides an overview of early neutral evaluation (ENE) and equips the lawyer with the basic information required to advise a client on the suitability of ENE to its case and the steps involved in preparing for, and participating in, an ENE. It also considers alternatives to ENE, such as Financial Dispute Resolution in the Chancery Division.
