Current trends in international construction dispute resolution, especially those emerging from the global economic downturn, are reshaping the dispute resolution process. This article examines the rise of ADR and it impact on arbitration, construction as an "investment" dispute and issues when negotiating and administering construction contracts, particularly the increased importance of bonds, time clauses and choice of law clauses.
