Busbar Transaction

Busbar is the point at which electricity is available for transmission. In a busbar transaction, the delivery point for the electricity is the generating station, and the purchaser is responsible for transmitting the electricity from the delivery point to the point of use. In this case, the purchaser must enter into the transmission services agreement with the operator of the transmission grid to deliver the electricity to the point where it intends to use it for its own purposes or to deliver it to another party under another agreement.
