A note on the EU Short Selling Regulation (Regulation 236/2012) (SSR) giving an overview of the restrictions on short selling EU sovereign debt and equity financial instruments, and on entering into uncovered sovereign credit default swaps. It also sets out the applicable exemptions and disclosure requirements under the Regulation.
