Draft revised statutory guidance on the radioactive contaminated land regime under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 has been laid before Parliament and was published on 28 February 2012.
On 28 February 2012, a draft of the revised statutory guidance for England on the radioactive contaminated land regime under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 was published by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). The draft guidance has also been laid before Parliament.
The guidance is expected to come into force on 6 April 2012, at the same time as the:
The government is not consulting on the revised radioactive guidance because there are no substantive changes, other than some of the wider changes that also apply to the non-radioactive guidance.
