On March 22, 2012, the Senate passed the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act (H.R. 3606), as amended by Senate Amendment No. 1884 (S.AMDT. 1884). The amendment inserts into the bill additional investor protections relating to crowdfunding. The JOBS Act had been passed by the House of Representatives on March 8, 2012. The amended Senate bill now goes back to the House for consideration.
