A Practice Note explaining how to prepare and submit the excerpts of record in civil appeals to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from a federal district court's order or judgment. The excerpts of record replaces the appendix in the Ninth Circuit. This Note also explains how to submit supplemental excerpts of record and further excerpts of record.
