We have added a Statement of Defence and Counterclaim with accompanying drafting notes to Case study, Commencing SIAC arbitration, authored by Richard Clegg at Selborne Chambers. The case study illustrates the commencement of an international arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. The current edition of the Rules came into force on 1 July 2010 and applies to arbitrations commenced on or after that date.
