Tajikistan has acceded to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York Convention).
On 24 August 2012, Tajikistan deposited an instrument of accession to the New York Convention, becoming the 147th party to the Convention. The Convention will enter into force for Tajikistan on 12 November 2012.
