On November 5, 2012, the SEC announced that it is preparing relief measures extending filing deadlines for filers affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The relief measures, which will be available to individuals and entities unable to timely file due to Hurricane Sandy, will extend until November 21, 2012 the deadline for filings otherwise due between October 29 and November 20, 2012. The announcement indicates that the staff will also consider requests for additional relief on a case-by-case basis.
