This comparison document shows, in a detailed in-line mark up, the amendments proposed to be made to Council Regulation (EC) No 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings (Insolvency Regulation) by the proposed Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Regulation (EC) No 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings, as (i) published on 12 December 2012 (Amending Regulation), and (ii) reflecting the amendments to the Amending Regulation adopted by the European Parliament on 5 February 2014.

The proposal for the Amending Regulation does not provide an in-line mark up of how the changes would affect the existing Insolvency Regulation. Practical Law Restructuring and Insolvency has therefore created this cumulative mark up to help practitioners assess the effects of the proposed changes.
