This Law Firm Publication by McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association discusses New Hampshire bill HB 1360, recently signed into law by Governor Hassan. HB 1360 severely limits the use of electronic devices, such as smart phones, while driving. "Use" is defined broadly and includes calls, text messages, emails, internet browsing and inputting information into a GPS. An exception exists for hands-free devices and emergency situations. The new law becomes effective July 1, 2015.
