Taxation of savings: EU and Switzerland sign new agreement on automatic exchange of financial account information | Practical Law

On 27 May 2015, the EU and Switzerland signed a Protocol amending their existing Savings Agreement and transforming it into an agreement on automatic exchange of financial account information based on the OECD/G20 Global Standard. Under the new Agreement, the EU and Switzerland will automatically exchange information on the financial accounts of each other's residents from September 2018.

On 27 May 2015, the EU and Switzerland signed a Protocol amending their existing Savings Agreement and transforming it into an agreement on automatic exchange of financial account information based on the OECD/G20 Global Standard.
