The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) announces changes to the LCIA Court and LCIA Users’ Councils and welcomes new President.
The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) has announced that Rusty Park retired as President of the LCIA Court at the Tylney Hall symposium on 20 May 2016, having served for 6 years. Judith Gill QC has now stepped into her role as President Elect of the LCIA Court. Ms Gill, a partner at Allen & Overy who is recognised as one of the leading practitioners in the field of international arbitration, has been a member of the LCIA Board of Directors since 1998 and will continue to sit on the Board in her new capacity.
The LCIA has also announced the appointment of Jean Kalicki and Peter Rees as Vice Presidents, as well as five new LCIA Court members: James Lloyd Loftis (Vinson & Elkins LLP), Luca Radicati di Brozolo (ARBLIT - Radicati di Brozolo Sabatini Benedettelli), Noah Rubins (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer), Nathalie Voser (Schellenberg Wittmer), and Claus von Wobeser (Von Wobeser y Sierra SC).
Changes to the LCIA Users' Councils were also revealed.
