Massimo Sterpi

Massimo Sterpi is an expert in intellectual property law (trademarks, design rights, copyright and patents) and has substantial experience in both transactional matters and litigation. In particular, he advises on major transactions involving IP rights and complex issues involving new technologies and media. Massimo has litigated a significant number of disputes before both the national and foreign courts, including the European Court of Justice. He is a passionate art collector and has developed a unique and international well-known practice in art law, representing famous artists, institutions and collectors. Massimo is currently listed in WIPO’s IP Arbitration and Mediation Center’s List of Neutrals and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Venice Peggy Guggenheim Collection. He has edited and contributed to a number of publications on IP and art law, in a various number of foreign languages such as German, Japanese and French. Massimo is also a frequent speaker in national and international conferences.

Thierry Calame

Dr. Thierry Calame is an expert in IP matters, with a particular emphasis on patent law. He has vast experience as counsel in patent, trademark, unfair competition and copyright litigation, as well as IP related arbitration. Thierry Calame also sits as an arbitrator in IP related arbitration. In addition, Thierry Calame advises on licensing, the intellectual property aspects of a wide range of other transactions, as well as pharmaceutical law, including regulatory and advertising issues. He holds masters degrees in chemistry and law. Thierry Calame is permanent lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property and has published on a wide range of intellectual property topics. He acted as Reporter General of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) from 2010 to 2014.
