A Practice Note explaining how to properly serve documents filed after the original citation and petition in Texas civil litigation under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP). Specifically, this Note explains how and when to serve documents after the initial filings commencing litigation (other than subpoenas), the parties that should be served, and how to prove service to the court.
