A Checklist setting out the necessary steps under Texas law for changing the entity type of a business (often called a conversion). This Checklist discusses the requirements for both domestic and foreign entities to convert from or into a Texas corporation, limited liability company (LLC), limited partnership (LP), or general partnership (GP) and provides information about filing the required documents with the Texas Secretary of State (SOS) to effect the conversion.
