A Standard Document mechanic's lien waiver and release given by a contractor (or subcontractor) in connection with payment on a project for the improvement of real property. The Standard Document includes drafting and negotiating tips and can be used by any party that has a right to file a mechanic's lien under New York's Lien Law.
