Allied Litigant and Confidentiality Agreement (TX) | Practical Law
An agreement that allows allied litigants with common legal interests that are involved in an active, ongoing legal proceeding to share information with each other without waiving the attorney-client privilege, work product privilege, or other applicable privilege or protection. This agreement, sometimes called a joint defense agreement, also may protect against the disqualification of one party's counsel for sharing confidential information with the other parties to the agreement. This Standard Document has integrated notes with important explanations and drafting tips.
