This Practice Note addresses oral argument, disposition, and reargument motions in appeals to the Appellate Division, Third Department from civil judgments or orders of the New York State Supreme Court (the state's trial court of general jurisdiction). This Note also addresses recovery of costs and disbursements by the prevailing party.
