A Checklist for computing time periods in actions pending in the New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division, Civil Part and in non-foreclosure actions in the Chancery Division, General Equity Part. This Checklist covers how to identify a deadline's triggering event, number of days in the time period, and whether the deadline is forward-counting or backwards-counting. It also sets out how to calculate deadlines that fall on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, and time periods measured in days, weeks, months, or years.
