A Checklist to aid plaintiff's counsel in filing the complaint and other case-initiating documents in Georgia superior and state courts. Specifically, this Checklist identifies the documents that counsel must file to commence a lawsuit, how to electronically file (e-file) or file in paper format, and when to serve process. This Checklist also identifies the various methods of service, waiver of service, how to draft and file the proof of service, and how to calculate when the defendant's response is due.
