This Practice Note provides an overview on how to electronically file (e-file) documents in the common pleas courts of Ohio that have adopted electronic filing. Specifically, this Note explains what rules govern e-filing in Ohio common pleas courts and the parameters set by these rules. This Note also identifies courts that have currently adopted electronic filing and outlines what other formatting, filing, and service rules that electronic filing affects.
