A Practice Note examining the computation of time periods under the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure (Civil Rules). Specifically, this Note explains when the Civil Rules apply, how to compute time periods and deadlines measured in hours, days and longer periods of time, and when the rules provide for the addition of extra days to time periods, after certain kinds of service.
