A Practice Note explaining how to draft and serve a request for production (RFP) of documents from a party in Georgia civil litigation in superior or state court, including electronically stored information (ESI). This Note discusses the structure and content of an RFP and how to draft the different sections of the RFP, including the caption, introduction, definitions, instructions, document requests, and signature block. This Note also discusses the rules for serving an RFP and preparing a certificate of service.
