JAMS

JAMS is a full service alternative dispute resolution institution in the US that provides arbitration and mediation services for domestic and international disputes. JAMS maintains a roster of neutrals who are available to serve as arbitrators and mediators, many of whom are former judges. JAMS provides arbitration and mediation services under various rules, guidelines, and procedures, including:
In addition, JAMS offers appellate review of an arbitral award under the JAMS Optional Arbitration Appeal Procedure.
JAMS provides administrative services including:
  • Assisting the parties with the appointment of the arbitrator or mediator.
  • Arranging hearings.
  • Providing for each case a case manager who:
    • coordinates the schedule;
    • communicates with the arbitrator;
    • provides notices;
    • handles billing; and
    • distributes the award.
