A sample joint defense and confidentiality agreement (JDA), which allows parties with common legal interests related to pending or anticipated civil litigation to share information with each other without waiving the attorney-client privilege, work product protection, or other applicable privilege or protection. This agreement may also protect against the disqualification of one party's counsel resulting from having received other parties' privileged or protected information under this agreement.
