Resources to help counsel prepare for and conduct arbitration under the rules of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), which is the international division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and draft arbitration agreements that incorporate these rules. The resources have been updated to refer to the 2021 version of the ICDR Rules, which, unless otherwise agreed, apply to arbitrations commenced on or after 1 March 2021.
In the US, arbitration is often viewed as a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to litigation. Commercial arbitration generally gives the parties greater finality to their disputes, limits (or even eliminates) expensive pre-hearing discovery, can achieve a resolution more quickly, and offers more procedural flexibility than does litigation. The International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) offers arbitration rules and services for many types of international disputes. This ICDR Arbitration Toolkit offers a selection of resources designed to give attorneys a basic understanding of several important aspects of arbitrating international commercial disputes under the ICDR rules, including how to:

- Request modification of an award issued by an ICDR tribunal.
