Second Circuit

Eastern District of New York

The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York updated its attorney admission application form to reflect that applicants should enter their bar registration numbers for each state bar in which they are a member in good standing.

The US District Court for the Northern District of New York issued General Order #55 regarding miscellaneous matters assigned to the chief judge.

Southern District of New York

Judge Paul G. Gardephe updated his individual rules of practice in civil cases. A copy of the previous version is available here.

District of Delaware

The US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware issued a general order regarding electronic designations of record and statement of issues on appeal in bankruptcy appeals.

Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals

The US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina issued Standing Order 15-SO-3 regarding amendments to its local civil and criminal rules of practice and procedure, which go into effect on December 1, 2015.

Eastern District of Tennessee

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee issued Standing Order No. SO-15-07 regarding a standing committee to administer ADR programs.

Seventh Circuit

Northern District of Illinois

The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois posted general bar admission information for new Illinois attorneys admitted between November 3, 2015 and January 15, 2016.

Southern District of Illinois

The US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois added an electronic filing registration form to its attorney admissions packet.

District of Minnesota

The US District Court for the District of North Dakota issued a standing order lifting the public ban on cell phones and tablet computers in all of its courthouses effective immediately.

Central District of California

Judge David O. Carter updated his judges’ procedures and schedules to reflect how to contact the court.
Judge Otis D. Wright II updated his judges’ procedures and schedules to reflect changes regarding mandatory chambers copies and ex parte applications.
