Central volume allocation (CVA)

The process for determining how much electricity is used or generated in a settlement period by customers or generating plant that is directly connected to the electricity transmission system or is otherwise registered in CVA under the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) (see also supplier volume allocation (SVA)).
