Grid Code

As used for electricity, the document that specifies the technical requirements for connection to, and use of, the national electricity transmission system (NETS). The Grid Code is owned and administered by National Grid under the terms of its transmission licence. Compliance with the Grid Code is a requirement under the Connection and Use of System Code (CUSC).
