Contestable works

As used for electricity, the elements of work required to make a connection to an electricity distribution network that do not need to be carried out by the licensed distribution network operator (DNO) and can be carried out by an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), appointed on behalf of the developer, in order to make the connection. See also non-contestable works. For more information, see Practice note, Power projects: electricity connection arrangements. For more information on power projects, see Practice note, Power projects: development phase.
