A package of EU measures concerning common rules for the internal market in electricity and gas and establishing the Agency for the Co-operation of Energy Regulators (ACER). The Third Energy Package repealed the Second Energy Package in 2009. Parts of the Third Energy Package were recast by the Clean Energy Package.
