Embedded benefits

The additional revenue, or saved costs, that can be earned by power stations that are directly connected to a distribution network due to the avoidance of the higher costs, and higher electricity losses, associated with the electricity transmission system. Embedded benefits have been reviewed and curtailed by Ofgem.
