Three agreements for US public company acquisitions with a deal value of $100 million or more were filed this past week.
On April 1, 2016, Alaska Air Group, Inc. agreed to acquire airline Virgin America Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $4 billion (or $ 2.6 billion equity value).
On April 3, 2016, Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. agreed to acquire wireless service provider Ruckus Wireless, Inc. in a cash-and-stock tender offer valued at approximately $1.5 billion on April 1, 2016.
On April 6, 2016, Handy & Harman Ltd. agreed to acquire electromagnetic equipment manufacturer SL Industries, Inc. in an all-cash tender offer valued at approximately $158.78 million.
