President Obama has signed S. 1890, commonly known as the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), into law.
On May 11, 2016, President Obama signed S. 1890, commonly known as the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), into law. Among other things, the act creates federal remedies for trade secret misappropriation and provides for limited whistleblower protection.
