This Note explains the procedure for confirming an arbitration award in New Jersey and the grounds on which a party may challenge enforcement under New Jersey and federal law, including the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), and the New Jersey Arbitration Act (NJAA). This Note also explains the procedure for vacating, modifying, or correcting an arbitral award in New Jersey.
