A Practice Note explaining how to enforce arbitral awards in Pennsylvania, including procedural considerations and the grounds on which a party may challenge enforcement under federal and Pennsylvania law. This Note examines the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), the Pennsylvania Uniform Arbitration Act (PUAA), and the Pennsylvania Revised Statutory Arbitration Act (PRSAA). The Note also explains the procedure for vacating, modifying, or correcting an arbitral award.
