This Checklist lists the business and key bankruptcy records that a debtor, debtor-in-possession, or trustee should retain during a Chapter 11 case. These records are necessary to conduct the Chapter 11 case and to pursue estate causes of action. They must be provided to any trustee appointed in the case. It describes duties under the Bankruptcy Code relating to records and possible consequences of failing to maintain them.
