A study recently conducted by a researcher of the Bocconi School of Law in Milan concluded that the Italian courts tend to uphold arbitral awards. The study analysed 99 decisions issued in set-aside proceedings in the Italian Courts of Appeal of Brescia, Genoa, Milan and Turin between 2007 and the first half of 2014.
