A Practice Note analyzing the key issues to consider in determining whether a communication between an attorney and a client is both confidential and facilitates the attorney's provision of legal services and is therefore potentially within the scope of the Texas attorney-client communication privilege. This Note also discusses situations and exceptions that destroy the privilege.
