Hours Worked Verification (CA) | Practical Law
A written document in which an employee verifies the hours worked in a particular pay period. This document may be used to confirm that a nonexempt employee's time card accurately reflects all hours worked. This verification is optional, but may be helpful against claims that an employee was not properly paid for all hours worked, including claims of unpaid overtime or off-the-clock work. This Standard Document applies only to private workplaces. It is based on California law. Local laws may impose additional or different requirements on employers.
