This Legal Update reports on significant changes to the local civil and criminal rules and procedures for all US federal district courts and appellate courts between September 28 and October 4, 2016. It also reports on changes to the individual civil and criminal practice rules for the judges in select district courts during this period.

Eastern District of New York
The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York updated its local rules, with amendments to Rule 7.1(c), Rule 23.1, 23.1.1, Rule 26.5. A copy of the previous version is available here.
