Two agreements for US public company acquisitions with a deal value of $100 million or more were filed this past week.
On October 2, 2016, First Commonwealth Financial Corporation agreed to acquire financial holding company DCB Financial Corp in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately $106 million at signing.
On October 3, 2016, asset managers Henderson Group plc and Janus Capital Group Inc. agreed to combine in an all-stock merger of equals valued at approximately $2.61 billion at signing.
