A Practice Note explaining how to enforce arbitral awards in Delaware state and federal courts. This Note explains the procedure for confirming an arbitration award in Delaware and the grounds on which a party may challenge enforcement under Delaware and federal law, including the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), and Delaware arbitration law, including the Delaware Uniform Arbitration Act (DUAA) and the Delaware Rapid Arbitration Act (DRAA). This Note also briefly explains the procedure for vacating, modifying, or correcting an arbitral award in Delaware.
