A Practice Note explaining how to enforce arbitral awards in Nevada state and federal courts. This Note explains the procedure for confirming an arbitration award in Nevada and the grounds on which a party may challenge enforcement under Nevada and federal law, including the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), and Nevada arbitration law. This Note also briefly explains the procedure for vacating, modifying, and correcting an arbitral award in Nevada.
