A Standard Clause that can be included in a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) to specify the parties' intentions regarding the extent to which their respective successors and assigns are entitled to the benefits of and subject to the obligations created by the CBA. It is based on the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), which has a statutory analysis for successorship that may override contractual successorship. It also may be used by private sector employers subject to the Railway Labor Act (RLA) or public sector employers.
