The Fair Wages and Healthy Families Act (also known as Proposition 206) also requires all Arizona employers to provide their employees with paid sick time for certain medical and other reasons beginning on July 1, 2017. Under the new law, the minimum wage will continue to increase at the beginning of each year until it reaches $12.00 an hour at the beginning of 2020.
