The SEC issued an announcement on the availability of the EDGAR system on Inauguration Day.
On January 9, 2017, the SEC announced that the EDGAR system will operate on Inauguration Day, which is Friday, January 20, 2017. The system will be available to receive, process, and accept filings. However, due to Inauguration Day activities, there will be limited filer support available that day.
